Terms and Conditions

These terms describe the Chalate Shop website service. They are the same conditions included in our service agreement.

1. The service

   Chalate Shop LLC designs and publishes a static website — fixed pages, with no online store, no user accounts, and no databases — using the images and information the client provides. Logo creation is not included. Logo design is available at an additional charge.

2. Price

   The service costs $100 as a one-time setup payment, plus $25 per month. This is a launch offer for the first 20 customers. It includes one available domain name: Chalate Shop presents 3 available options and the client chooses one. In month 12, and every 12 months after that (once a year), that month's payment is $50.00 total: $25.00 for the monthly service and $25.00 to renew the domain name for another year. The monthly service rate may increase by up to 3% once per year, starting on the first anniversary of the service start date. The month-12 domain renewal portion ($25.00) is separate and is not increased. Updated rates appear on the client's automatic invoices.

3. Your domain

   The domain is registered in the client's name and belongs to the client. Chalate Shop manages it while the service is active. If the service ends, the domain stays with the client.

4. Timeline

   The website goes live within 15 days after the setup payment is received and after the client has delivered all images and information.

5. Approval

   Nothing is published without the client's written approval (email or message counts). Updates are published after your approval: 1 update per month is included, upon request (information, photos, text).

   1 update per month included, upon request, published after your approval (information, photos, text). Send update requests to chalateshopllc@gmail.com. Updates do not accumulate from month to month. Redesigns, new pages, stores, or features beyond a static site are quoted separately.

7. Client content

   The client is responsible for the accuracy and legality of everything they provide, and confirms they have the right to use the images and content they send. Chalate Shop is not responsible for errors in client-provided content.

8. Payments

   The monthly payment is due on the same day each month. If payment is more than 10 days late, a $5.00 late fee applies. If no payment is received for 2 months, the service will be canceled. Payments are accepted via Cash App, Zelle, PayPal, or online payment. Invoices will be sent automatically to the email address the client chooses. There is no refund of the setup payment once work has begun, and no refund for a month already in service.

9. No contract

   This is a simple agreement, not a contract. Either party may cancel anytime upon request with 30 days written notice (email to chalateshopllc@gmail.com counts). You pay as you go — no early-termination fee and no long-term commitment.

10. When service ends

    When the service ends, the monthly service and hosting end on the effective cancellation date. The domain remains the client's property. At the client's request, Chalate Shop will hand over the site's files.

11. Credit

    The published website may include a small “Website built by Chalate Shop” credit with a link.

12. Availability

    The site is hosted on third-party hosting infrastructure. Chalate Shop does not guarantee 100% uptime and is not responsible for third-party outages, but will help restore service when possible.
